Replica of black epoxy of 6.83” monster megalodon tooth: size and details of the real tooth!

Replica made of black epoxy of 6.83” tooth. It has the size & details of the real tooth. Amazing to hold such a large speciman & imagine the size of the shark! I use a silicone mold & pour epoxy into it. It captures the divets & folds of the real tooth very well! We do find black colored teeth, so this does look like a real replica!

I found it 50 miles off NC in 108’. It was day 7 of a long trip. It was August and we had 68 degree water; very cold for summer. It was the last dive of the last day & I found it far out in the sand, away from the ledge.

At 6.83” it’s my 3rd largest tooth & was the biggest at the time. I can’t put a price on it to sell the original. This is a great way to get the look and feel of one of the largest megalodon teeth on the planet!

6.83” = 68 foot shark…they are believed to be up to 70’ long & roamed the earth 2-20 million years ago!

The replica does not include the original tooth, calipers, coral, etc. Not all replicas are identical. Some have bubbles from the process of pouring the epoxy.
